How do I raise money for Cancer Research through Race4Men?

When you register online, there is the option to link your registration to our Justgiving page.  You can also link your Justgiving page to our ‘Race4Men Gloucester’ event manually.

Who can enter the race this year?

This year we have changed the format of the race to include everyone.  We welcome men, boys, women and girls to register,  There is also a team option which you can select when registering.  All ages are welcome to run the main race and the Kids 1k Dash is open to ages 4 to 10 years.  Buggy runners are welcome and canine friends are welcome as spectators.

When do online registrations close?

Online registrations will close at noon on Thursday 17th May 2018.

Can I register on the day of the race?

You will be able to register on the day, however the cost will be higher at £20 for the 5k & 10k races.  The Kids 1k Dash will remain at £5.  Registration will open at 9am, please arrive in good time if you are registering on the day. Registration will close at 9.45am for the Kids 1k Dash and 10.30am for the other races.

What is the race route for Race4Men?

The Race4Men route goes around Plock Court and surrounding area. The 5k is one lap and 10k 2 laps. The course is flat and on both grass and road with plenty of places for spectators to cheer you on.

When will I receive final details about the run?

We will send final details to all registered runners before the event by email.  We will not be sending anything out by post.  Race numbers will be available for collection at registration from 9am on the morning of the race.

What time should I arrive on the morning of the race?

Registration will open at 9am.  Please make sure you arrive in good time to pick up your race number and prepare for the start of the race.  There will be a warm up for runners at 10.30am.

Will parking be available?

Yes, parking will be available near to Plock Court at the Nuffield Hospital, Tewkesbury Road, Gloucester.  Please follow the signs and directions from stewards on arrival at the event.  Please car share where possible.

Can I bring my family and friends to RaceMen?

Yes, please do bring your family and friends to cheer you on.  They will be able to watch you run from the side of the course.
